Life can be challenging and scary. Sometimes we just need a listening ear and extra support. Therapy is a place where you can get that extra support. Therapy involves learning about yourself, reconnecting with supportive people, and making positive changes in your life.
Lisa believes in creating a safe, comfortable, and empowering space where you can speak openly and not be judged. She believes that a therapeutic relationship is very important in helping you on your journey to good health and wellness.
Lisa McNeil has over 20 years of experience working with substance abuse issues, depression, anxiety, and self-development. She spends her free time teaching Zumba, walking, doing puzzles, watching comedy movies; and spending time with her family and friends.
Lisa's practice is exclusive to Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO, Lifeworks EAP, and Evernorth (formerly Cigna Behavioral Health).

Congratulations on taking the courageous first step towards healing and wholeness. Navigating the inevitable ups and downs of life can be challenging, but you do not have to do it alone. As a counselor, I strive to hold space for each client that I am fortunate enough to work with. To hold space for someone is to be completely present with them, sitting with them in their experiences and allowing them to be heard. I provide a safe, non-judgmental and supportive environment for individuals to work through life’s challenges.
I utilize a compassionate, strengths-based approach to counseling; helping each client to work on their individual goals. Fully believing that the client is the expert on their own life, I meet each individual where they are and tailor my approach to your unique needs. My goal is that each client will leave therapy with the tools they need to thrive in life.
I am trained in several treatment approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Gottman Method (couples) and Brainspotting (trauma). Whether you are struggling with issues of anxiety, self-esteem, life transitions, relationship difficulties or trauma I am confident that together, we can work to help you make positive and meaningful changes in your life.
